Pancho's Diary

Dear Diary,

I was born and raised in Mexico. I worked on a ranch for many years. When I was getting on in years (or long in the tooth as they say), I was sold with some other horses to a dealer in Colorado. I had to stay in quarantine for 30 days, get some shots and go through the sheep dip before I could travel. I came to Castle Rock and spent a few months there before I moved closer to the mountains to live with my new owner. I could not believe all the hay and grass I could eat. People called me "Hoover" for a while because I would just put my nose to the grass and keep on eating. Well, I've kept on eating, made new friends and learned some English. I even wear an English saddle which is very light compared to those Western ones. Well, more later.
