| Bob is one of those gifted people
that has a skill that many, including myself, do not
understand. And yet, you can't scoff at results!
Upon reading the story of Rivet Amber, Bob got in
touch with us with these findings:
"The plane went down at approximately 173
degree longitude and 55 degree latitude. It started
down from approximately 21,500 ft and is resting on
the bottom at 580 ft., 161.5 miles west of St.
George Island."
I asked Bob how he does this, and here's his
response:
" It isn't very complicated to do but does take
time, especially on the maps. Dowsing for water is a rather simple task but for map dowsing it is very tiring after
about one hour. I am sure there are a lot of dowsers out there but I
don't know of too many that are able to map dowse. The local chapter here in Fresno
doesn't seem to have any, but then they are not very active either. For water I use a V rod and for map
dowsing I use a pendulum and a single rod along with a couple of rulers to mark the
angles from reference points. Want to find GOLD or how about a underground cavern. It
works for just about anything that it can be applied
to. At any rate it is a lot of fun to do, it also works for underground
wires or pipes [with or without water in them] or how about finding a break in a buried wire!"
"OH YEAH -sometimes we do miss--depth or g.p.m. or the quality of
the water but in the long run I would have to say that success rates are
about the 90% level."
