Cleaning Up Shemya
The environmental cleanup of Shemya Island
continues. The 611th Civil Engineer Environmental Restoration Office continues
to manage cleanup efforts with oversight provided by the Alaska Department of
Environmental Conservation (ADEC). For specific Shemya issues, please go to the
