Dan Lange spent the years of 1945 and
1946 on Shemya as the crew chief of the P-38 fighter
named "The Little Butch." His photos of
himself, his and other aircraft of Shemya have been
a fixture of the Shemya web site for many years.
Dan recently sent copies of a number of other photos
from his collection that we've posted as well. We thank Dan profusely
