2004 Raytheon Holiday Event 18 December 2004, Broncos’ Stadium As you can see from the title, what had been celebrated in the past as a "Christmas" event had by this date become known as a "Holiday" event. This mindset change evolved gradually by corporate America over the years lest someone be offended by the religious connotations. Hughes/GM/Raytheon people are by and large very hard workers. They have learned how to cram 10 hours worth of work into an 8-hour day. Some on occasion would work 24-72 hours straight...depending upon the tasks at hand. Once a year a "Holiday Event" would be hosted by the company in recognition of these efforts. In 2004 Ms. Jana Shaw was the team lead chosen to ramrod this annual event which resulted in the experience of a lifetime! This event was held at the Mile High Stadium, home of the Denver Broncos. After visiting with folks, eating a fine meal and watching the entertainment...we toured the Stadium inside and out...finally seeing what goes on behind the scenes!
