I Served with Flight "B" of the 375th Reconnaissance Squadron V.L.R. (very long range) Weather from 1948 to 1949. I was an Aircraft Mechanic with this group and enjoyed every minute of it. Our Squadron consisted of WB-29's which flew weather missions over the North Pole and down into Japan. In April of '49 Flight "B" was transferred to Eielson AFB, where I served until 1950.
