Aleutian Veteran Interviews

Rick Crandall of KEZW, 1430 on your Denver Area AM radio dial, hosted each Friday from the Wellshire Inn a show focusing on the Veteran's of all wars and branches of military service. On the 29th of December, Rick's 0900 hrs segment featured veterans from the Aleutian Islands. Many veterans around the country were able to listen to an Internet streaming version of Rick's show through some creative linking of KEZW to a streaming facility by fellow Shemyaite Bill Harris of Denver's KOOL 105 radio station's group. Folks from Texas to the upper peninsula of Michigan, from the east coast to the west were all able to tune in for this interesting show that introduced the GI experience in the Aleutians during a time when most of America was not knowledgeable about what was going on in that part of our country...both during and after WW-II.
